一、培育法門龍象的搖籃－蓮園
　　蓮園僧伽教育體系座落於台北縣石碇鄉之高等教育園區，風景優美，環境幽雅，為僧俗二部制作育英才的文化、教育、修行的聖地，其間涵攝華梵大學、華梵佛學研究所、蓮華學佛園、華梵文物館、法華塔等。華梵學園，秉承佛陀遺教，以開發「般若淨化思想」，發揚「菩薩悲智精神」，悲智雙運為施教之方針。四十年來已培育出無數佛教人才，為栽培漢傳佛教比丘尼之重要道場，也是華梵大學創立的基石。

二、蓮園研究所宗旨
　　為培育高階教育弘法人才，續佛慧命，弘揚覺之教育，培養解行相應，全方位佛教教育弘法人才。

三、報名手續
　　請交自傳一份，二寸半身照片三張，申請書及介紹人（介紹人資格，需為寺院住持，或家長）函件寄教務處。經審閱合格者，即寄覆報名單，俟填妥後寄回教務處，以便通知考試日期及寄發准考證。

四、課程特色
　　遴聘高僧大學教授、博士之專業教授指導課程，養就天台宗、淨土宗、覺之教育之專業弘法人才，研究生每年並有出國參與國際佛學研討會的學習機會。
課程內容：覺之教育、天台止觀、阿彌陀經要解、叢林規約、佛學英文、古文選粹、法務實習等，專業教授，內容精采。

五、每學期提供獎學金(新台幣)六千元。

六、考試日期:100年9月3日~9月4日  (9月2日下午15:00前報到)

七、考試科目
(1)筆試：國文、天台宗思想概要或淨土思想概要（二選一）。
(2)口試:

八、報到手續
　　經筆試、口試兩項合格錄取者，請於規定日期內抵達本園，向教務處報到辦理註冊手續。並請繳交國民身分證及保證書、畢業證書等。師長或家長得為保證人，保證學生在園期間循規蹈矩，必要時隨時與蓮園保持聯絡。

Lotus Buddhist ASHRAM ADMISSION Notice

1. Introduction

    The Lotus Buddhist Ashram is a professional Buddhist education school, and it is located in the New Taipei City of Taiwan. The Ashram is established by a famous monk Ven. Hiu Wan, and it is next to the Hua Fan University. The environment of Ashram is pretty beautiful, and it is far away from downtown. The goal of Ashram is develop the insight of highest wisdom and to cultivate the Bodhisattva spirit with the teaching of Buddha.

2. Ashram Purpose

    Our purpose is to train the students to be the professional teachers for Buddhist education. We also hope to propagate the Buddha’s education and teach the students about Buddhist theory and practice.

3. Ashram Characteristic

    Our faculty is including the famous masters, university professors and doctors for the professional courses about Tain-Tai and Pure Land Buddhism. The postgraduates have the opportunity to attend the international Buddhist seminars. Our educational system contains the basic and professional courses for the female high school and university graduates. The enrolled students could apply for scholarship after study.

4. Application Procedure 

    The autobiography, 3 photos, diploma and guarantor’s letter (abbot or parents) are required. The application form will be mailed to you after our verification.

5. Examination

        (a) Date: 2011.9.3. ~ 2011.9.4.

        (b) Written test: English, Chinese, Buddhism Survey

        (c) Oral test

Remark: If the international student can not pass the Chinese test, she has to

take additional Chinese lessons here at least one academic year.
